JWAC continually seeks
talent in technical areas such as Engineering Analysis;
Information Systems; Military, Political, Economic and
Social Analysis; Intelligence Analysis; Staff and
Administrative Positions. The scope of work is broad and
varied; initiatives and creativity are required to perform
assigned tasks. JWAC incorporates the dynamics of individual
career choices. Career paths are based on individual
development and those of the Center. Progression to advanced
positions is dependent on initiative, ability, and
experience with respect to clearly defined performance
expectations. Career progress can occur laterally or
vertically within or across focus areas.
JWAC primarily recruits its entry-level employees through
the Navy Career Intern Program (NCIP). NCIP is a formal
two-year paid internship with the Department of the Navy.
Individuals successfully completing the training program may
be non-competitively converted to a permanent Federal
position at JWAC.
