Commander's
Policy Statement on EEO and DiversityThe JWAC Command will provide a work environment for all employees that fosters fairness, equity, and respect for enriching diversity, and that is free from unlawful discrimination and harassment. I believe diversity encompasses, but is not limited to, age, gender, race, national origin, religious beliefs, physical abilities and characteristics, sexual orientation, economic circumstances and lifestyle. We are committed to fostering a supportive work environment which creates a culture and climate of respect and inclusion. We appreciate diversity in its many forms and provide all employees with opportunities to maximize the use of their work-related skills and talents. If you feel you have been discriminated against, immediately notify your supervisor, or a supervisor in the chain of command, or the Deputy Equal Employment Opportunity Officer. Workforce diversity and inclusion is the cornerstone of the organization, and I count on every employee to create an atmosphere of consideration and mutual respect towards similarities, as well as differences, which is imperative to fulfill the Command's stated mission. I am committed to lead and model diversity throughout the organization. To lead the organization, I need managers, supervisors, and employees to work towards pluralism and inclusion. This effort will continue to build respect, dignity, fairness, caring, equality, and self-esteem.
