Here's what our team members say about working at JWAC....

David earned his Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering from North Carolina State University and is a Professional Engineer in Virginia. While working at JWAC, he earned a Masters degree in Environmental Engineering.

Working with professionals from different backgrounds and disciplines has contributed significantly to my career, and the flexible work schedule allows me to enjoy a balanced life. The JWAC team is great!"

Lateefah is an Intelligence Specialist at JWAC. As a Navy Enlisted assigned to JWAC, she found her job to be rewarding and challenging. She returned to JWAC after her military service, where she is now a civilian employee.

"I chose JWAC because I thrive on challenges, responsibility and innovated technologies. JWAC offers all of that. JWAC allows me to continue my education through formal training, on-the-job training, and self study. I am currently enrolled in the American Military University seeking a Bachelors in Intelligence Studies.

JWAC has a professional work environment, and I have always been given the opportunity to excel professionally."

Adam graduated from University of North Carolina Charlotte in 2006 with a Bachelors in Computer Engineering.

"Working at JWAC has been an excellent experience! The Health and Wellness program is fantastic - who wouldn't want to get paid up to three hours per week to exercise? The flexible work hours are great, especially if I am planning a weekend trip back home to North Carolina.

I appreciate the fact that I am able to serve my country in some way. The opportunity to help support the warfighter gives me a great sense of patriotism and pride!"

Denise earned a Masters degree from Georgetown in Security Studies in 2005. Before that, she earned a Bachelors in Political Science and Sociology as well as earning a Juris Doctor. Now, she is a JWAC employee.

Denise works in our Engineering and Modeling Directorate, where she engages in new and innovative methodology development to support the warfighter.

"I chose JWAC because of the real-world experience and the chance to work on projects that are acted upon by our nation's armed forces. Our projects integrate both social and physical sciences for the most comprehensive products possible."

Calvin is a 2001 graduate of Virginia Tech, earning a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering. He is taking advantage of JWAC's continuing education program by working towards a Masters degree from the University of Virginia.

"I came to JWAC because I wanted a job where what I accomplished had an immediate impact on supporting the armed forces in the field. I have the knowledge that what I am doing can save lives.

The people I work with are great and eager to make a difference! I also enjoy the flexible work schedule and benefits, in particular the Health and Wellness program."

Kristy earned her Bachelor degree from the University of Mary Washington in Computer Science. Kristy took advantage of JWAC's continuing education program by earning a Masters degree in Computer Science from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2006.

"I chose JWAC because I was impressed by the work being done. JWAC was using tools and techniques that others were not. I've always been given the opportunities to work on things that interest me and showcase my talents."

Brian graduated from West Virginia University Tech with a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering. While working at JWAC, he has attained two Microsoft certifications.

"It is great working in an environment where they are concerned as much about you as they are about getting the job done. What I have experienced while at JWAC has helped shape my career. It's a good feeling to know that what I am doing supports the warfighter."
