JWAC offers the opportunity for all employees to obtain and hold a Top Secret clearance with SCI access after a favorable Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI). The SSBI involves a thorough check of the candidate's prior 10-year background regarding personal conduct; credit history; and any criminal or drug history in their background.
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
Candidate's immediate family (Mother, Father, Step-Mother, Step-Father, Foster Parent, Children, Step-Children, Sister, Brother, Step-Brother, Step-Sister, Half-Brother, Half-Sister, Father-in-Law, Mother-in-Law) must also be U.S. citizens.
Candidate's immediate family or any other person to whom he or she is bound by affection or obligation should neither be subject to physical, mental or other forms of duress by a foreign power or persons who may be or have been engaged in criminal activity, nor advocate the use of force or violence to overthrow the Government of the United States.
Candidate must be stable; trustworthy; reliable; of excellent character, judgment, and discretion; financially stable, and of unquestionable loyalty to the United States.
Employment with JWAC also requires submission to random drug testing procedures and counterintelligence polygraph tests.
