JWAC's Transition Plans from NSPS to GS

Training

The following training and education opportunities are available to help prepare NSPS employees and their supervisors in the transition to the General Schedule system. Only one course is mandatory.

The NSPS website at http://www.cpms.osd.mil/nsps/transition now includes information tailored for those transitioning to GS. The site has an Employee Toolkit with a guide and a web-based training course titled GS101. The site also features a feedback page offering employees the opportunity to provide comments and suggestions on web content and areas where additional information will be helpful.

JWAC's B1 has created a Sharepoint site on OASIS. The site can be accessed from the Hot Links on the main page of the internal network. The site includes a link to a FAQ email and the latest guidance, regulations and communication.

Mandatory for transition: The GS101 course is required for all employees that have not worked under the GS system previously. The course must be completed NLT 23 April 2010. Please pass completion certificates to supervisors.
